Do you need to control a specific machine in your workshop that isn’t listed among the many available options? Request a Custom Control: send us a PDF or photo of your machine codes—provided by your machine dealer or found in your user manual—and we at CNC Simulator Italia will create your control so you can run the program in the application and verify all cycles. Once you’re satisfied… 1 Test the first empty cycle on your machine tool. 2 Carefully run the first part. 3 Once the first part has been successfully completed, feel free to run the program in automatic/continuous cycle mode.

There should be no distractions at the lathe, which is why the lathe menu is dedicated solely to turning operations. Load the program you want to use. Then read the demonstration program to see what settings you need to configure, and set the axis triplet, the workpiece, the spindle, and the tools. Once you’re done, run the cycle. Don’t worry—if you make a mistake, you won’t cause any damage. Find the problem and fix it!
